GlamMarket is a platform that connects buyers and sellers. Once you connect via WhatsApp, all arrangements — payment, delivery, meetups, and any agreements — are made directly between you and the other party. GlamMarket is not involved in and is not responsible for any transactions or communications that take place outside of this platform.
That said, we care about your experience and want to help you stay safe. Here are some guidelines to keep in mind.
For Buyers
Take your time before committing Chat with the seller through WhatsApp, ask questions, and only proceed once you feel comfortable. Nobody should rush you into a decision.
Confirm the item is real Ask the seller to send a live photo of the item before agreeing to anything — for example holding it with today’s date written on a note. This confirms the item exists and is in their possession.
Be cautious of new or incomplete profiles Accounts with no profile photo, no listing history, or very little information are worth approaching carefully.
Do not click suspicious links A genuine seller has no reason to send you payment links, verification links, or ask you to log into any external website via WhatsApp.
Avoid sellers who dodge basic questions A legitimate seller will comfortably answer questions about condition, size, pricing, or origin. Hesitation or avoidance is a warning sign.
Never let anyone pressure you Phrases like “someone else wants it” or “offer expires soon” are common pressure tactics. A genuine seller will give you space to decide.
If the price seems too low — be suspicious Unusually cheap listings with no explanation are often a red flag.
For beauty services — ask for a portfolio first Before booking any beauty service, ask to see photos of previous work. A professional will always be happy to share.
Trust your instincts If something feels wrong at any point, end the conversation and report the listing to us.
For Sellers
Protect your personal and banking details Never share your bank account number, PIN, or OTP with anyone over WhatsApp regardless of how legitimate they seem.
Watch out for overpayment scams If a buyer offers to pay more than your asking price with an unusual explanation, treat it as a scam.
Verify payment in your banking app Never accept a screenshot as proof of payment. Confirm the funds have actually arrived in your account before handing over anything.
Only proceed when you feel comfortable You are in control of who you share your details or location with. Take your time and trust your judgment.
Our Role
GlamMarket provides the platform to list and discover fashion and beauty. We do not facilitate, process, or oversee any payments, deliveries, or arrangements between buyers and sellers. We are not liable for any disputes, losses, or outcomes arising from interactions that take place outside of GlamMarket.
If you encounter a suspicious or fraudulent listing, please report it and we will review and remove it promptly.
